Kuma

Kuma is a 12 yr old male shiba, he is selective with other dogs. He weighs a healthy 30.5 lbs.

Our Dogs Being Adopted Now

Here are our gorgeous shibas who have found their forever homes.

Aki

Aki is an incredibly sweet and friendly 1 yr old shiba boy. Aki was surrendered to the NYC Shiba Rescue because his previous owner attends college and works.

They wanted Aki to have a family who could spend more time with him. Aki is good with children and dogs.

He is now with his foster family now and possibly his forever home.

Oreo

Oreo is a 6 month old Shiba mix who was surrendered to our rescue after being attacked by a neighbors dog.

His right front leg was broken in 3 places which we are hoping we have been able to save, although it had been very expensive & he will continue to have medical needs.

Oreo is as sweet as a cookie, loves people & good with dogs & cats. He is not ready for adoption at this point as he still has a long road to recovery.

Jewelz

This is Jewelz, she is an 8 year old female shiba who was surrendered by her former owner. She loves to play and is good around other dogs.

Her foster mom is looking at adopting her.

Bean

Bean is a 3 year old shiba mix. He weighs only 16 lbs but needs to add a little weight. Bean likes to cuddle up against his foster mom.

He is being adopted by his foster parents.

Tuna

Tuna is 6 years old. He is loving life with his foster mom, she will be adopting him.

Anna

Anna is only 10 months old, she weighs 13 lbs.

Her foster will be adopting her.

Lumi

Lumi is a 5 1/2 month old black & tan female shiba. Lumi loves to play and do zoomies around her apartment.

Her fosters are in the process of adopting.

Jake & Chu

This is Jake & Chu who previously lived together. Jake is the Black & Tan, he is 13 years old and Chu is 11 years old.

Their fosters are in the process of adopting them.

Hilda

This is Hilda, she is 10 years old. Hilda came to us after being surrendered by a puppy mill. Her fosters are in the process of adopting her.

Here are some of our shibas who are now in their forever homes.

Euler

Euler is a 1 yr old male shiba, he is a ball of puppy energy. Would be best placed in a Shiba experienced home dedicated to continue his training. He’s ok with other dogs as long as they can tolerate his puppy playfulness.

He has found his forever home.

Luna

Luna is almost 3 years old, she is super friendly to all she meets. She is loving life in her new forever home.

Prince Hiro

Prince is 2 years old. He is loving life with his 5 shiba siblings. He is now part of a pack of 6 and is loved and spoiled every single day.

He is now in his forever home. He is now called Prince Hiro.

Kion aka Rio

This is Kion, he weighs 45 lbs and is a very happy and handsome boy. He loves other dogs and is happy to live with cats.

He has found his forever home, he has a new life and a new name, he is now named Rio.

Kaito

Kaito is a 9 yr old male shiba. He Likes to run, play tug of war, chase, you would not realize he is 9 years old. He weighs a healthy 27 lbs.

He has found his forever home.

Jade

Jade is 18 months old, she is super friendly with everyone she meets. She is loving life in her new forever home with her wonderful family.

Anya

Anya is 1.5 years old. She likes to help in the kitchen. Her parents have completed the adoption process and Anya is now in her forever home.

Linda Biscuits

Linda is 4 years old, she weighs 19 lbs. She is a former mill dog who needs a calm and quiet life in the country.

Her fosters have adopted her where she now lives in the lap of luxury. She is spoiled and adored every single day.

Sachie

Sachie who was formerly known as Spice. She is 10 years old and her fosters have adopted her. She is now in her forever home being loved and spoiled.

Zyla aka Ladybug

This is Zyla, she is a 4 year old female crea shiba. She enjoys hikes and spending time with her humans. She is loving life in her forever home.

Bruno

This is Bruno, he is only 2 months old. He is a happy and handsome little boy who is very active and loves to play.

He has found his forever home.

Thor & Loki

Thor & Loki are litter brothers who are 12 years old and in excellent health. They are enjoying there new home with there adopted sisters.

They have been adopted by there foster mother.
